A woman could be President in the event of Impeachment.

Well, last Friday's release of Special Proscecutor Fitzgerald's case adds more fuel to the smoldering mess that is the presidency of Bush II. Impeachment is a growing movement, whether the mainstream press will admint it or not, and will peak sometime around February of 2007, shortly after a new Senate is sworn in. This is assuming, of course, that the Republican 'base' doesn't show up on November 7th and there is a slight Demo majority.

So exactly who would become President if there is impeachment? Here where that road goes:

Bush - Impeached for your choice:
      NSA Wiretaps
      Illegal War in Iraq
      Illegal Detentions and Torture
      The Plame Affair
      Fill in the Blank_________________________
      All of the above

VP Cheney comes next - Impeached along with Bush? Yes, I think so. Whew, we dodged a bullet there (no pun intended)!

Speaker of the House is third - Don't worry about Hastert. In January, The Democratic majority in the house would elect the next president of the USA, Nancy Pelosi

President Pro Temp of the Senate - This would be also be a Democrat, as well, if the House is majority Democrat by then.

The first female president of The United States of America. Nancy Pelosi.

Hence, voting for a Democratic Senator will be an indirect vote for a female president.
